SOCIAL MEDIA CONTRIBUTOR

Bring your organization to the front of the pack by having one of our photographers create a set of captivating social media images for your organization.

What You Get: Social media quality images are provided to your organization in a folder for your use with social media. If you wish to use the photos beyond social media you have the option of contacting the photographer for additional usage permissions. Photos remain the property of the photographer, the photographer is given credit on social media either by mention or by gently watermarking their photo. We can also provide short videos and interactive photos for social media if requested.

Why You Need This: Compelling and frequent visual posts on social media are shown to increase viewer traffic and interest in your website, project or organization. One statistic shows that, “When people hear information, they’re likely to remember only 10% of that information three days later. However, if a relevant image is paired with that same information, people retained 65% of the information three days later (Source: http://www.brainrules.net/vision).” However, despite dozens of statistics many organizations do not post daily to social media or do not use professional photography services to enhance their social media impact. Our research this past year has show that compelling visual daily social media posts have a measurable impact on your organization in the form of increased donations, increased interest in events, heavy increase in social media followers, increased interaction on social media, increased post shares about your organization on social media and increased support.

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

Give your organization the public relations boost it deserves by having one of our photographers contribute regularly or “take the lead” on one or more of your social media accounts.

If you wish to use the photos beyond social media you have the option of contacting the photographer for additional usage permissions. Photos remain the property of the photographer, the photographer is given credit on social media either by mention or by gently watermarking their photo. EVENT PHOTOGRAPHER

One of our photographers will provide you with an “event album” you can post on social media, use in newsletters, and post on your website.

What You Get: Your organization will be given high quality images from the event. If your organization has permission forms that need to be signed they should be provided by the organization. If not, please let us know so our photographer can bring release forms with them.  At least two photos should be released to the photographer and Cameras for Conservancy for use on our own social media accounts for PR, portfolio, or record-keeping purposes. The photographer will choose these two images and make sure all permissions by the organization and subjects are granted. Beyond that the photographer will not use any of the images from your event without your permission. Credit should be given to the photographer when possible and should always be given when an image is used in a publication. If you would like a “Facebook Live” or “Instagram Live” video shot for this even please let us know.

Why You Need This: When people see exciting images of an event the comments under the posts are often, “How did I miss this?” Or “When will you have this event again?” Or, if you post the images from a previous event early you can generate interest with comments like, “When is this event happening?” Or “I didn’t miss this event – did I?” When people see others having fun on social media they want to be part of it. They don’t want to miss out. When you share fun visuals from your event you increase interest, increase participation, and increase interest in future events. This impacts your organization in a positive manner by generating more visitors, membership and participation. But did you know that WHAT these images are and HOW they are photographed make a difference? Even if you are already posting a few shots on social media of your events see what a difference it can make to have a professional photographer provide you with an event album.

PUBLIC RELATIONS PHOTOGRAPHER

One of our photographers will be present at an event you are holding such as a meeting with a congressman, a bird release, a public meeting, a board meeting, or other event. The photographer will provide compelling photos of this event for your organization to use in social media and will also share those photos on their own social media account as well as the account for Cameras for Conservancy, increasing your social media exposure.

What You Get: You will receive high quality images of all the event photos. Your organization can use these photos in any manner it deems necessary. Credit should be given to the photographer when possible and should always be given when an image is used in a publication. The photographer will also retain rights to all the images for their own use, unless otherwise discussed before the event. We can also provide short videos and interactive photos for social media if requested. If you would like a “Facebook Live” or “Instagram Live” video shot for this even please let us know.

Why You Need This: Public relations photos are a significant way to help people learn more about what your organization is doing and the important work you have in progress. Seeing your organization stay active in the community and accomplish important tasks keeps your membership interested and supportive – as volunteers and donors.

SCIENTIFIC PHOTOS

One of our photographers will collaborate with your staff to take a series of photos based on their needs. These photos could include a list of plants found at your location, a list of animals, a scientific project, or even a process.

What You Get: High quality images and videos will be provided to the organization. The photographer will retain rights over their images as well unless otherwise discussed beforehand.

Why You Need This: Documenting scientific studies at your organization is an important factor in being awarded new grants and retaining old ones. Experience has shown that submitting compelling images along with your grant proposals can increase your chances significantly. Scientific photos can also save your organization time by providing teaching tools for volunteers and staff members as well as important reference records.

BEHIND THE SCENES PHOTOS

One of our trusted photographers will collaborate with your staff to take a series of photos based on their needs. These photos could include behind-the-scenes processes with maintenance, planting, wildlife management, winterizing locations, preparing for events and more. Choose this option if you want to specify who is able to see these private photos and what kinds of photos can be taken.

What You Get: Our photographer will collaborate with your staff member to learn the guidelines of what photos can be taken and what photos are “off limits.” No photos will be used by the photographer without permission by the organization. However, the organization will be given use of all the photos for internal and private use. Photos can be used in internal memos, private communications, staff education tutorials and more. The photographer should be given permission to use some of the photos for their own use. Which photos these are can be discussed beforehand and afterwards. However, in this case, the organization has control over the use of the photos. We can also provide short videos and interactive photos for social media if requested.

Why You Need This: Documenting behind-the-scenes events at your organization are important to show compliance with regulations. These photos are also an important factor in being awarded new grants and retaining old ones. Experience has shown that submitting compelling images along with your grant proposals can increase your chances significantly. Behind-the-scenes photos and videos can also save your organization time by providing teaching tools for volunteers and staff members as well as important reference records.
